In El Paso, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Texas, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6 amβ6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (915) 751-6619. El Paso is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in El Paso peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Should have asked for my receipt. The francesitos were hard but edible. However I asked for elotes de fresa those were super hard and they weren't even de fresa I dont even know what flavor they were because they tasted like nothing. So disappointed. Gotta find a better bakery

I always buy tamales here noticed Γ slight change in price when I paid I asked the owner why it was more than usual she stated β she did not know the machine β is now charging an extra $2 and some cents to pay with card. Dum excuse just to steal from your costumers instead of being honest from the get go.

The bakery does not honor itβs posted prices!! I asked the guy if he was charging me tax and he said no. I told him the price posted was $3.75 and he said it changed its now $4. No apology or nothing. Anyways the bread is dry and the tamales are expensive and small. Wonβt go back!! 3/17/25

I've been looking for a bakery ever since Supreme Bakery closed down. So here we are, I was eagerly greeted, and every single employee was nice! There was great pride in their goods, guaranteeing the flavor and quality. I mostly go for doughnuts, so I ordered 2 dozen variety of doughnuts. They charge $1.25 each, and they are the large bakery doughnuts I've come to expect. Unfortunately, they just weren't great... I intend to come back to try the Tamales π« though.
